Job Description – Service Technician

Reitz Fan & Blower is the North American division of the Reitz Group, a global-leading manufacturer of industrial fans & blowers. To support our growing business we seek a service technician.
Responsibilities: Installation, startup and troubleshooting of industrial fans and blowers. Analyze customer equipment and recommend improvements, spare parts, retrofit, and replacement.Education: Technical College and on-the-job Work Experience: 5-10 years or more with rotating machinery, preferably (but not exclusively) industrial fans and blowers. Skills: Technical capabilities for the installation, operation and repair of industrial equipment, especially fans and blowers. Good communication skills and ability to handle a variety of tasks in a growing company. Experience with customer relations and ability to analyze industrial processes and application and how these relate to Reitz products.
Travel: Candidate should be prepared for frequent travel within North America, approximately 50% of the time, with the remaining 50% spent in our production facility performing tasks including assembly, inspection, testing, etc.Training: In our Aberdeen plant. Advanced training will also take place at our home office in Germany. A current passport is required.
